Charles Herman Runyon, age 86, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024. He was born on January 27, 1938, in Denver, Colorado, to Herman and Velva Runyon. Charles dedicated his life to the art of shoe cobbling and was the proud owner of Two Heels and a Loafer. Known for his unwavering Christian faith and strong work ethic, he will be fondly remembered as a determined and hard-working individual.
A loving father and Papa, Charles found great joy in supporting his grandchildren and attending their various events. His presence brought immense happiness to those around him.
Charles was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Paula Runyon; his parents, Herman and Velva Runyon; and his granddaughter, Harper Payberah.
He is survived by his daughters, Tiffany Milligan (Chris) and Jennifer McWilliams (Leslie); along with three grandchildren, Shianne Neimeyer, Sierria Varnado, and Makayla Barnett. Additionally, he leaves behind four great-grandchildren, Cade, Xander, Zoey, and Bree.
A graveside service will be held at Zion Hill Cemetery, in Weatherford, Texas, on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.
Charles Herman Runyon's legacy of hard work, dedication to family, and love will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
