Charlie Andrew Contreras

Charlie Andrew Contreras, 16, of Weatherford passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 15, 2018, at the funeral home. Charlie was born October 3, 2001, in Torrance, California to Richard and Melodie Contreras. Charlie was a kind hearted soul that was respectful to everyone, including animals. Charlie was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, a very gifted musician who has been to UIL State competitions, a previous member of the Fort Worth Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, Weatherford High School Marching Band and Wind Symphony Orchestra. He owned an extensive collection of musical instruments and loved putting computers together.

Charlie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Billy Lyons, Gloria Contreras, and Rosario Contreras. 

He is survived by his loving parents, Richard and Melodie Contreras; sisters, Shelby Morrill and Sarah Holgado and husband, Francisco; brothers, Richard Margo and wife, Gerri, Richard Contreras, Jr. and wife, Nikki, and Adam Contreras; grandmother, Norma Lyons; his beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
