Charlie Keith Gibson

Charlie Keith Gibson, age 80, of Weatherford, passed from this life to meet his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 in Fort Worth, TX. Charlie was born January 9, 1934 in Granbury to Clifford L and Virgie Lea Gibson. Charlie was a retired cable repair technician for Southwestern Bell after 40 years of service. He was a member of Willow Park Baptist Church.  He had previously served as a music director; youth director; and deacon at various churches.  He enjoyed fishing and playing golf with his brothers and friends.  Charlie is preceded in death by his parents and brother, C.L. Gibson.
Survivors: His soul mate of 60 plus years, Jolene Gibson of Weatherford, daughters, Susan Kendig and husband Terry, of Saginaw; Tanya Davis and husband Sammie, of Weatherford; brothers Eddie Ray Gibson and wife Sug of Longview; and Howard Earl Gibson and wife Ivelyn of Weatherford; sister-in-law, Naomi Gibson; five grandchildren, Justin Cohlmeyer and wife Krista; Ryan Cohlmeyer and wife Linnzi; Laura Cohlmeyer; Paige Davis and Megan Davis; and, several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday at Willow Park Baptist Church. Internment: East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 PM Thursday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
