Cheryl Ann Goodson

Cheryl Ann Goodson, age 53, passed away suddenly , Saturday, October 16, 2010, at her home in Fort Worth.    Cheryl was and will always be a loving mother of two sons, a loving grandmother with three grandchildren, whose lives sustained her and gave great joy to her until her final days.  She was a devoted daughter, who will be remembered for her unending love, Her personality that had the power to take over a room and her red hair (along with the zest and zeal that all redheads possess).  She will be remembered as an unwavering soul, friend, mother, wife and grandmother .Cheryl loved life and those in her life loved her.  Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Jack Ferguson of Weatherford.  She was a homemaker, dental assistant and member of the South Main Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Geoffrey Goodson and wife, Vanessa of Killeen and Nicolas Goodson and wife, Lindsay of Warthen, Georgia; mother, Melba Ferguson of Weatherford; former husband and friend, Royce Goodson of Slaton; three grandchildren; Kailynn, Barrett and Aurora and her dog, Dottie.
Funeral service will be held at 10am, Wednesday, October 20, 2010 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment in City Greenwood Cemetery.  Visitation will 5-8 PM, on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at the funeral home.
