Christine Vanderpool

Christine Vanderpool, 85, of Fort Worth, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at her residence. She was born September 20, 1935, in Ada, Oklahoma, to Felix and Frances Compton Cunningham. Christine was a dedicated wife and homemaker who took care of her family with pride. She enjoyed reading and crocheting. 

In addition to her parents, Christine was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle L. Vanderpool, Sr.; her son, Terry Wayne Vanderpool; one sister and two brothers. 

She is survived by her children, Lyle Vanderpool, Jr., Vicki Elkins and husband, John, all of Fort Worth, Pamela Bennett of Greenwood, Missouri, and Andrea Bennett and husband, Roy of Belton, Missouri; two sisters, both of California; 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 25, 2021, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Funeral service: 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at the funeral home, with a graveside to follow at 2:00 p.m., in DFW National Cemetery.
