Clen Edward Spoon, 69, left this earth for his Heavenly Home on September 12, 2021, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on August 17, 1952, to Charles Edward (Pete) Spoon and Mary Evelyn (Patterson) Spoon in Big Spring, Texas.
Clen was pastor of Preaching of the Cross Turnaround Ministry for 25 years. He was also self-employed as a painting contractor and in lawn service. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and visiting and speaking with others about his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Clen was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward (Pete) Spoon, and daughter, Tina Whisenhunt.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Linda Ann (Lewis) Spoon of Weatherford, Texas; his mother and stepfather, Mary Evelyn (Ed) Smeal of Mineral Wells, Texas; daughters and sons-in-law, Angie (Mundo) Zuniga of Watauga, Texas; Mandy Spoon, Fort Worth, Texas; and Armenta (Rusty) Sharp of Weatherford, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Pam (Lloyd) Stricklin of Weatherford, Texas; 9 grandchildren: Travis, Dustin, Chase, Kristy, Courtney, Amber, Brooke, Bradley, and Vanessa; and numerous great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
