Cleo E. Bourdon McConkey, 96, of Granbury, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2008 in a local nursing home. Cleo was born November 29, 1911 in Des Moines, Iowa to Glen Edward and Fannie Oliver Bourdon. Mrs. McConkey was a Baptist. She enjoyed cooking, walking and being outdoors. Her husband, John McConkey, four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Pauline Bourdon, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services: 11 AM Thursday at Spring Creek Cemetery, south of Weatherford.
