Crese Annette Cockerham, 52, of Weatherford, passed away suddenly early on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, in Fort Worth.
A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held at 2 P.M., on Saturday at 1502 Santa Fe Drive in Weatherford, Texas with Pastor Harold Jayne officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 1 P.M. until the time of the service, Saturday, at the church.
Crese was born on March 26, 1966, in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Lloyd Sr. and Ruby Gibbs. She married Robert Cockerham on November 2, 2002. She worked for State Farm Insurance for nearly 30 years and was a long-time member of Santa Fe Baptist Church in Weatherford. Crese enjoyed watching volleyball and cheering on her daughters at their sporting events. She will be affectionately remembered for her always cheerful and optimistic attitude and as someone “who took care of everyone.” Most of all, Crese will be remembered for being a loving and devoted wife and mother.
Crese is survived by her loving husband, Robert; her daughters, Lyndsey, Jessica, and Mikayla Lane; step-daughters, Amanda (Jeff) Tippey and Rebecca (Jimmy) Kelley; granddaughters, Piper Tippey and Emma Kelley; foster parents, Harold and Jeannie Jayne; and by her sister-in-law, Bernice Gibbs.
In addition to her parents, Lloyd Sr. and Ruby, Crese was preceded in death by her brother, Lloyd H. Gibbs, Jr.
