Cs (Tex) Edmiston

CS (Tex) Edmiston died peacefully at home on Saturday, January 23 during his 99th year of life. 
He retired from General Dynamics (Lockheed) in 1978 after 39 years in the aircraft engineering department. CS was born in Sherman, Texas to Amzi and Emma Edmiston. He graduated from Sherman High School and attended the University of Texas at Austin. He married his high school sweetheart Dorothy Cook. They recently celebrated their 78th wedding anniversary.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy, daughters, Carol Sue Dobbins and husband Lynn, Nita Whiteside and husband Bobby, Janie Pendleton and husband Kirk and son Chuck Edmiston and wife Wilma. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.

The family is especially grateful to the people who diligently and loving assisted in his care.

Mr. Edmiston will be cremated, and no service is scheduled at this time. A celebration of his life will be held at a later time.
