Cynthia Ann Dessecker, age 68, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 1, 2022 at her home in Weatherford, Texas. Cynde was born November 2, 1953, in Gainesville, Florida to Bernard Grimes and Patricia Wenzel Grimes.
Cynde loved spending time with her family and friends, studying the Bible and worshiping through prayer and praise, and volunteering at churches throughout the years, and the 60+ Club in Weatherford, TX. She was an expert gardener, bird watcher, and enjoyed time with her pets and adventuring outdoors. Cynde was always excited to travel and meet new people and experience new places.
Over the span of her life, she continually worked on advancing her creative skills in cooking, arts and crafts, and writing. Cynde was an avid reader and passed on her thirst for knowledge and learning to her children and grandchildren. Professionally, she was a high-achieving salesperson, always setting the highest standards for herself while motivating others. Most importantly, Cynde placed others before herself, as shown in the way she passionately loved, mentored, and discipled her children, family members, and family friends. If you knew Cynde, you were sure to find yourself on her prayer list and at the center of her thoughts.
