Dana Tanner

Dana Tanner, age 58, passed away Friday evening, December 31, 2010, in the local hospital.  Dana was born April 1, 1952, the son of Martha “Eddy” Headrick  and Paul “Paw Paw” Nickerson.  

Dana enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corp in 1977, where he served eight years honorably. In 2002, Dana became a Weatherford business owner, with the purchase of Miss B’s Antiques, with his wife, Becky.  

Dana spent his entire life providing for his family. Nothing meant more to him than his wife, three children and three grandchildren. Dana and Beck were married for 40 years. He will be remembered for the unconditional love he had for all of them. 

Dana was preceded in death by his sister, Sandy; father, Paul Nickerson; and mother, Martha “Eddy” Headrick Nickerson. 

Survivors: wife, Becky Tanner; daughter, Bridgett Tanner; sons, Jacob and Josh Tanner; three grandchildren, Jacob, Olivia and Bree Tanner; three brothers, Wylie Brown, Edward “Hot Shot” Nickerson and Paul “Henry” Nickerson; numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
