Darla Kay Thomas

Weatherford – Darla Kay Thomas, 57, of Weatherford died Thursday (May 16, 2019) at home after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
Darla Kay was born December 11, 1961, in Grapevine, TX. Daughter of Bill and Judy Pulliam. She is survived by her son Jordan Thomas his fiancé Kendra Hunkler, her granddaughter Stella Jean of Keller, TX. Survivors also include her mother, Judy Pulliam of Weatherford, TX, sister Brenda and husband Michael Miller of Cisco, TX, her brother Brad Pulliam and his wife Lois of Weatherford, TX.
She is preceded in death by her father.
In lieu of services a Celebration of Life was held on May 11th, 2019, where she was able to visit with those whose lives she had touched.
She was employed by Fidelity Investments for 27 years, retiring 5 years ago. Her smile and contagious laughter brought joy to each and every person with whom she came in contact with. Whether at home or the office, with family and friends or in the mission field, she was truly a powerful witness for our Lord and Savior. When asked, “Why so early for such a special person?” the response was always the same… “It’s a God Thing”.
