David Andrew Richards Jr.

David Andrew Richards, Jr. (Dave) passed away Friday, April 4, 2014.  Dave was born December 5, 1933 in Nolan County Texas to Emma Evans and David Andrew Richards Sr.
Mr. Richards was a master carpenter.  He loved his family and spending time with them was his favorite thing to do.  Dave was a U.S. Army Veteran and served in the 7th Inf. Div. in Korea, the same unit his brother Gene served in four years earlier. He was an avid hunter as well as a Dallas Cowboy fan.
Mr. Richards is preceded in death by his parents and six siblings; Juanita Smith, Monty Sager, Nancy Gandee, Curtis Richards, Bill Richards and Jack Richards.
Survivors include his wife, Jewell; daughter, Donna Thomas and husband, Todd of Zion Hill Community; son, Dexter Richards and Debara Craft of Weatherford; six grandchildren, Lisa, Amanda, Stephanie, Jerad, Trevor and Garrett; four great grandchildren, William, Peyton, Cody and Dylan; sister, Peggy Heap and two brothers, Gene Richards and wife, Judy and Bob Richards and wife, Ruby.

A graveside service will be at 1 pm Wednesday at Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
