David Cecil Fant

David Cecil Fant passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022. He was born October 20, 1940 in Lipan, Texas to Rochelle and Mary Pearl Fant. He moved to Granbury in 1950, then to Weatherford in 1972. He married Faye Ivey in 1962, and Janette Ratliff in 1976. 

David is survived by his wife, Janette; children, Terry Fant of Hamilton, Randy Fant of Fort Worth, DeWayne Fant of Weatherford and Janet Lackey of Weatherford; grandchildren, Robert, Samantha, Emily, Abby and Addison Fant and Thomas Lackey; great grandchildren, Hunter, Holden, Connor and Parker Jane Fant; brothers, Charles (Katherine) Fant, of Brock, Jesse (Anita) Fant, of Granbury, and Donne (Allene) Fant, of Weatherford; aunt, Thelma Thomason; multiple nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Richard Whitworth; and his first wife, Faye.

Visitation: 6-8 pm, Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Funeral service: 10 am, Friday, January 28, 2022 at Galbreaith Pickard with burial to follow at Acton Cemetery in Acton, Texas.
