David DeForest Bideler was born May 13, 1935, in Paris, Ark., the third of nine children to the late David Frazier and Cora Edith Pettigrew Bideler. David loved his family with all he had and was especially happy when they were around him. He was a very hard worker and made his living as a carpenter for many dedicated years. David wasn’t happy unless he was busy doing something – whether it was working or enjoying and playing the music he so adored on his guitar or bass. Being from Arkansas, he loved the mountains and would often compare mountain scenes to his homeplace. David was a member of the Assemblies of God for many, many years.
David was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Bideler, of 32 years and Marlene Bideler, of 28 years; his parents; two sisters; and two brothers; and one grandson.
Survivors include his children, Debbie Phillips, Marsha Westbrook-Madey and husband, Andrew, Brenda Duncan and husband, Randy, Rick Bideler and wife, Michele, Gayla Villaseñor and husband, David, Randy Bideler and wife, Sheryl, Amy Larvin and husband, Duane, Christina Bonneau and husband, Jon, and Diana Odom and husband, Marty; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great children and one on the way; four sisters; and a host of loving family and friends.
