David Gene Spears

Mr. David Gene Spears, age 57, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2011 in Weatherford, Texas.  He was born on February 13, 1953 to James and Helen Jenkins Spears.  David was a longtime resident of Weatherford and served our country during Vietnam War.
He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, LaTisha Spears; grandson, Alex Spears; brother, James Lee Spears, Jr.
David is survived by his wife, Sheila Spears of Weatherford, Texas; daughters, Cassey Spears and husband, Donald Lance of Weatherford, Texas and Shanelle Spears of Weatherford, Texas; sons, Travis Spears and wife, Samantha of Weatherford and James David Spears and wife, Dianna of Weatherford, Texas; grandchildren: Hunter James Spears, Scarlett Spears, Travis L. Spears, Jr., David Joe Spears; sister, Ann Marriot of Kansas, Missouri; brothers, Charles Spears and wife, Paula of Joshua, Texas.
Family will receive friends at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel on Friday, January 28, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ben Evans officiating.
