David John Paradowski, age 77, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 surrounded by his family and friends. David was born June 30, 1940 in Houston, Texas, the son of Steve A Paradowski, Sr. of Bryon, Texas and Wanda Rose Supercinski of Brenham, Texas. He served in the United States Air Force beginning June 1, 1963 until his honorable discharge on August 18, 1965. After he was discharged, he lived and worked in Houston, where he met his wife, Birdina (Dina) Fallon Eastburn in 1976. They were married by the Justice of the Peace in Humble. On March 26, 1977, Father Payne married David and Dina with a formal wedding on June 30, 1979, at St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Houston.
During that time, David and Dina lived in Porter, Texas and worked in Houston before moving to Mineral Wells in 1988. David worked in the Oil and Gas Filtration Industry, where he was a draftsman, designer and engineer. He worked for Perry Equipment Corporation from 1988 to 2001. He then worked for Jonell Inc. in Breckenridge, Texas.
David was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a lifelong member of the National Rifle Association and a member of the American Legion Post #75 in Mineral Wells.
David is survived by his loving wife, Dina Paradowski; daughter, Rachel Ann Paradowski; grandchildren, Madison Frances Renee VanNatta, Cameron Christopher Alan VanNatta, and Shannon Dakota Cain Rogers; sisters, Irene Elizabeth Maass, Mary Lowery; brother, Steve A Paradowski, Jr and several nephews and a niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve on Feb. 2, 1971 and Wanda on October 31, 1985 as well as his sisters, Emily Avila and Carolyn Buss.
Funeral Mass: 10 a.m., Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Chapel in Mineral Wells. Visitation: 5 p.m., Monday at the church with a Rosary to begin at 6 p.m. David will be laid to rest at 2 pm., Wednesday, January 24, 2018 in the Mausoleum at Brookside Memorial Park in Houston, Texas. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Prayer Garden.
