David Justin "Mojo" Shifflett, 47, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022. He was born November 22, 1974, in Odessa, Texas to David Merdith Shifflett and Rebecca McQueen Shifflett. Justin worked for Parker County Appraisal District. He was very active in the community and was a 24 year member of the Parker County Sherrif's Posse and served as Captain in 2009.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Jennifer Morris Shifflett; children, Avery Merdith Shifflett and future son in law, Amon Pool, and Zane Curlin Shifflett, all of Poolville; parents, David and Becky Shifflett of Graham; father and mother in law, Avery "Butch" and Lela Morris; grandmother, Josephine Hall; great aunt, Carole Hemphill all of Weatherford; aunt and uncle, Dennis and Brenda Shifflett of Aledo. Justin is also survived by numerous extended aunts, uncles, beloved cousins and friends.
Visitation: 9:00 a.m., Friday, September 9, 2022, at First United Methodist Church in Weatherford, with a funeral service following at 10:00 a.m.
