David Leroy Karg

David Leroy Karg passed away on September 6, 2018.
Visitation will be Monday, September 10 at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at South Main Church of Christ at 2:00 pm.
David was born and raised in Litchfield, Minnesota to Peter and Ella Karg on Febuary 5, 1938. He joined the Army at a young age which led him to his wife of 56 years, Hazel, who he met while stationed at Fort Hood. In 1978 they moved to Weatherford to raise their family. In David’s free time he enjoyed hunting, farming, spending time with his family and attending South Main Church of Christ where he was been a lifelong member.
He is proceeded in death by his parents; step-father, Eddie Olieander Swanson; sisters, Donna (Willard) Schwartz, Karen (Kenny) Khol; and in laws Doyle and Vernell.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel; daughter, Lina (Robert) Bates; son, Doyle Karg; grandchildren, Hannah Marie, Madelyn Avery, and Dance Christopher Bryan; brother, Willard “Sunny” (Mary Ann) Karg; sisters, Shirley (Willard) Johnson, Bonnie (Leo) Staglemyer; and a host loving friends.
