Dean Laverne Gilley

Dean L. Gilley, age 92, of Weatherford, passed away Saturday,  January 17, 2015.  Dean was born September 15, 1922 in Springtown, Texas to Merzy Dean and Maggie Lafayette Gilley.  He was a Navy Veteran, retired Meat Cutter for Win Dixie, enjoyed woodworking, carpentry and farming. Mr. Gilley is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Linda Morgan, brother, Gene Gilley and sister Loretta Carney.
Survivors: Wife, Madena Gilley of Weatherford, daughters, Patricia Martin and husband Michael of Nocona,  Carol Tinney and husband Larry of Weatherford, sons, Mike Gilley of Mineral Wells, Richard Gilley and wife Karen of Benbrook, Jessey Gilley and wife Evelyn of Reno, fourteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Weatherford Healthcare and all their employees, Heart to Heart Hospice and staff for their loving and exceptional care for Mr. Gilley over the past four years.

Graveside: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Greenwood Community Cemetery. Visitation 6-8 pm Tuesday at Galbreaith Pickard.
