Debbie “Joe" Hinton, passed away at age 69, Wednesday, March 23, 2022. Joe was born October 2, 1952, in Booneville, MS. to Roscoe Hinton and Virginia "Gin" Nancy Smith.
Joe served in the U.S. Army; he was a Vietnam veteran. He married Nettie Ann Pierce (Hinton), and they shared 48 wonderful years together. Joe was a family-oriented man; he adored his two daughters. He took pride in his career; Joe spent his career and retired as a heavy equipment operator; or as he would say, just a "ditch digger". Joe loved watching sports whether it was watching his grandkids or nephews but especially his favorite teams, the Dallas Cowboys and Ole Miss. He was also an incredibly talented Golden Gloves contender, and thoroughly enjoyed spending time at the boxing gym and being a trainer. Joe loved his family and friends dearly and will be missed by all.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Smitty Hinton and granddaughter, Aubrie Phillips.
Joe is survived by his wife, Nettie Ann Hinton of Fort Worth, TX, daughters, Stephanie Martin, and Misty Hinton (Josh), sisters, Martha Holcomb (Dr. Bob), Rockie White (Larry), and Vickie Hinton, grandchildren, Cade Martin, Faith Phillips, Landon Phillips, soon to be great-granddaughter, Hazel Mae as well as many nieces and nephews in which many he claimed as his own.
