Debra Ann Whiteway-Windham

Debra Ann Whiteway-Windham, 53, of Weatherford, went home to be with her Lord Friday, September 25, 2009.  Debra was born November 11, 1955 in Weatherford to James and Pauline Whiteway Sr. who preceded her in death.  Debra was a caregiver and a loving mother, grandmother and sister.  She loved being with her family; especially the grandchildren.  Crocheting, working crossword puzzles and playing solitaire were her favorite pastimes.
Survivors include her daughters, Christina Whiteway of Temple and April Garner of Weatherford; son, Charles Lance Windham of Victoria; sisters, Sherry Trejo of Weatherford and Kathy Rhoads of Fort Worth; brothers, James Vincent Whiteway, Jr of Millsap and Jerry Wayne Chatman; five grandchildren, Amanda, age 20, and Xavier Avila, age 16, Lana, age 13, and Colten Garner, age 16, and Kelyn Windham, age 7, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Debra’s life will be from 5 to 9 PM Monday, September 28th, at the funeral home.
