Dianne Davis Soap entered into the gates of heaven to live in eternity with her Lord Jesus Christ on October 11, 2015. Dianne was born on July 28, 1960 to Carnellia Louise Davis. After the death of her mother at the age of 9, she was adopted by her maternal grandparents, Jennings Price and Bessie Louise Smith Davis. She was born, raised and died in Weatherford, Texas. She graduated from WHS Class of 1979. Her life occupation was devoted to child care. Dianne’s impact and love for children allowed her to care for hundreds of children throughout Parker County. Many of her past children describe her as patient, loving and truly selfless. She was a mother to all and an extended grandparent. She loved each child like her own and rejoiced in their accomplishments. She always had a smile on her face and if she saw someone without one she gave them one. Dianne later married her high school sweetheart, Johnny Soap on June 26, 1991. They have been life partners and love birds ever since. They recently celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary. Dianne loved caring for other children but cherished her daughter, Carrie. Her eternal joy was getting to enjoy her two beautiful grandsons, Carter and Ryder Howard. Dianne is survived by her husband, Johnny Soap; daughter, Carrie Howard and son-in-law Drew; brother, Skipper Davis; and grandsons, Carter and Ryder Howard; many aunts and uncles, cousins and countless friends. Dianne is preceded in death by her mother and grandparents. She will be missed but we will see her again.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at North Side Baptist Church with Pastor Van N. Houser officiating. In lieu of flowers or food, an account has been established at First Financial Bank to assist the family with expenses.
