ODESSA Permian High School football manager, Dillon Davis Hogans, age. 19, lost a long battle with muscular dystrophy on Friday, January 7, 2011, at Odessa Regional Medical Center. He was born in Fort Worth on November 19, 1991, to Barry Wade Hogans Jr. and Cheryl Christine Hogans. Dillon will be sorely missed by a host of family and friends. His father, Barry Wade Hogans Jr. and fiancee Shelly Hammer of Odessa; mother, Cheryl Christine Hogans of Weahterford; brothers, Ross Wade Hogans of Weatherford, Logan Patrick Hammer of Fort Worth Dillon Scott Hibbard of Weatherford and Dakota Forrester of Mesquite; sisters, Savannah and Samantha Gandee; paternal grandparents, Barry Wade Hogans Sr. and Janette Hogans of Fort Worth; great-grandmothers, Ethel Davis Wooten of Odessa and Frankie Trivette of Fort Worth; aunts and uncles, Vikki Trammell and Michael Ard of Bells, Texas and Brian Wayne Hogans and Brandy Hogans, all of Sherman; and nephew, C. J. Hogans of Bells are among the many who survive him.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday January 11, 2011 in the New River Fellowship Church with interment in the Annetta Cemetery.
