Dollie Jane Meals-Nolen

  Dollie Jane Meals-Nolen, age 49, passed from this life on Sunday, April 27, 2025. She was born on October 20, 1975, in Houston, Texas, to Raymond A. Ehlert and Connie (Sain) Holland. Shortly after graduating high school, Dollie became a cosmetologist. She transitioned into marketing within the home health industry, where she worked as a marketing representative for many years. Her outgoing and bubbly personality shone brightly into every interaction. She never met a stranger and genuinely loved connecting with people.

  In her quiet moments, Dollie enjoyed crafting and playing games - whether it was board games, cards, or especially Bingo. A woman of faith, she loved the Lord and was a faithful servant. Above all, Dollie cherished her daughter, Emily, whom she loved with all her heart. 

  Dollie was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Ehlert; stepfathers, James Holland and Bobby Spencer; grandparents, Harry and Ora Nell Sain, and Lawrence and Berdine Ehlert; as well as uncles, Donald Ehlert and Leigh John Bentley. 

  Dollie is survived by her beloved daughter, Emily Meals, and fiancé, Gavin Prellwitz of Weatherford, Texas; mother, Connie Holland; and sisters, Raenell Franz and husband, David and Amy Ahern and husband, Chris. 

  She is also survived by her aunts and uncles: Ron Sain and wife, Judy; Lesa McLennan and husband, Jim; Carol Bentley; Rodney Ehlert and wife, Carole; Kevin Ehlert and wife, Jane; and Cheri Ehlert. Her legacy continues through her nieces and nephews: Brittany and husband, Chase; Matthew; and Jacob and fiancée, Madison; as well as her great-nieces, Ellie and Wrenley. Dollie will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her. 

  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086. A time of visitation will begin one hour prior to the service, at 1:00 p.m., at the funeral chapel.
