Don Wesley Campbell

Don Wesley Campbell, 75, of Granbury, passed away Friday, January 27, 2012.  Don was born March 7, 1936 in Weatherford to Sydney and Berta Lenora McCreary Campbell. Mr. Campbell was a retired Air Traffic Controller and an Air Force Veteran.  He was a member of American Legion Post 163 in Weatherford.  He volunteered as an Ombudsman and was a member of Couts Memorial United Methodist Church. Don was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Wanda Ross. Survivors include his wife, Freda; son, Scott Campbell and wife, Julie; daughters, Terry Heath and husband, Bill and Donya McNeese and husband, Doug; five brothers, Bob, Duane, R.C., Bryan and Gary Campbell; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday at Couts Memorial United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Legion Post 163 in Weatherford.
