Donald E. Brock

Donald (Don) E. Brock, age 87, left his earthly home to go to his heavenly home on Thursday, July 21, 2022. Donald was born December 20, 1934, in Fort Worth, TX to Harvey Brock and Amy Mize.

Don graduated from Birdville High School in 1953. He proudly served in the US Army from 1957-1959. While he was in the service, he met his wife LaVonne of 63 wonderful years. They have two children, son, Jamie Brock, and daughter, Julie Brock. Don worked diligently for Frigidaire and General Motors, retiring after 55 years. He enjoyed blue grass music, going to the festivals, and having coffee everyday with his dear friends.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Brock; brother, Verben Brock; and his infant sister.

Donald is survived by his wife, Lavonne Brock of Weatherford, TX; son, Jamie Brock and wife Suzanne of Chappell Hill, TX; daughter, Julie Brock and Shane Spinks of Weatherford, TX; sister-in-law, Ardeen Hofberger; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service: 12:00 pm. Thursday, July 28, 2022, at the Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery.
