Donald L. Anderson was born March 27, 1933 to Rumbo and Mary Anderson in Ft. Worth, Texas. He grew up on the north side of Ft. Worth, graduated from North Side High School in 1951 and TCU in 1956.
Upon graduation, he married Sharon Hildreth a fellow student at TCU. After a year in NYC, they returned to Texas where Don settled into a career in commercial insurance.
His insurance took him to St. Louis, Kansas City and finally to Southern California where he lived for thirty years. Don’s creative interests included various graphic art media, wood working, cooking and the compilation of several cookbooks.
Upon retirement, Don and Sharon returned to reside in Weatherford, TX. Don resumed domino games with friends and luncheons at the Star Café with his high school friends.
Don believed that no matter how difficult life was or what might come his way the Lord would work good out of it. His friends and family saw this faith in Jesus borne out throughout his life.
