Donald Ray Hampton

Donald Ray Hampton, age 76, passed away Friday, December 25, 2015. Donald was born August 20, 1939 in Weatherford, to Wade and Margaret Cook Hampton. He was former owner of Hampton Produce, a farmer and rancher, and worked in maintenance at Poolville ISD. Donald was a member of Poolville United Methodist Church.  He loved raising animals and helping students with their 4H show rabbit projects. His parents and brother, David Hampton preceded him in death.  Donald is survived by his daughter, Dana Foster of Comanche; sons, Donald Ray Hampton, Jr. of Weatherford, Douglas Wade Hampton of Fort Worth, sisters, Wanda Murry of Saint Marys, GA, Sue Lanier of Decatur, Janice Edmonds of Azle, Vernell Chadwell of Springtown, brothers, Terry Hampton of Springtown, Ted Hampton of Springtown, and Ned Hampton of Springtown; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
