Donald W. Pace

Donald Wayne Pace, age 74, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 28, 2012. Visitation will be Monday, April 30, from 6-8 PM at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 1, at 2 PM at First Baptist Church of Weatherford and burial to follow in the Bishop Cemetery in Lipan, Texas.
      Donald was born on June 17, 1937 to Clyde and Alpha LaVerne Pace in Knox City, Texas.  He was a longtime resident of Weatherford.  He married Rosie Mowles on Sept. 22, 1956 in Abilene.  Donald served in the Air Force 1956-1960. 
      He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Alpha LaVerne Pace, son-in-law, Sam Tipton.
      Donald leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Rosie Pace; daughters,  Denise Harper and Kimberly Tipton; grandson, Chris Lang and Nicole; granddaughters,  Destiny Campbell and husband, J.R. Camella Lang, and Becca Harper; great-granddaughter, Patricia Rose Campbell; great-grandson, Samuel Kaide Campbell; sister, LaNita Rigsbeeand husband, Charles; brothers, Darrell Pace and wife, Shirley,Paul Pace and wife, Billie, Weldon Pace and wife, Kay and Phillip Pace; numerous nieces and nephews.
       In lieu of flowers, memorial can be given to Center of Hope or Salvation Army.
