Donna Elaine Chane

Donna Elaine Chane (Granny Donna), age 72, born January 17, 1950, in Weatherford, Texas. 

Donna is preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Gary Chane of Weatherford, Texas; father, Louis Nichols of Aledo, Texas; brother, Louis Nichols; and sister, Judy Fincher of Weatherford, Texas. 

Donna is survived by her mother, Louise Nichols of Rankin, Texas; her two sons, Damon and Brent Chane, and Damons wife, Jennifer; two grandchildren, Cullen Chane and Caleigh Scozzari, and their spouses, Hayley and Christopher; 4 1/2 great grandchildren, Kye and Kace Chane, baby Chane due April 2023, and Kennedy and Blakely Scozzari, all of Weatherford.

Donna was an aunt, great aunt and great great aunt to many who she loved and loved her. She was a sister in law to Nelda Chane and Jackie Holder of Weatherford. Donna was a loving, kind, giving, and always put others ahead of herself. Donna was thankful to everyone. Donna will be missed by her family and friends, but never forgotten.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 30, 2022, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086. Following the service, a procession will make its way to Bethel Cemetery, in Weatherford, Texas for burial.

A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2022, at the funeral chapel.
