Donna was born in Keene, New Hampshire, on May 21st, 1939, to Paul and Mary McNamara. Donna was Valedictorian of her class of 1957, at Thayer High School. She played a mean 3rd base in softball and held the record for most points (52) in a single basketball game.
Donna was very active in the churches and towns where she lived: Salem, New Hampshire; Atkinson, New Hampshire; Lutz, Florida; and her final church home of Central Christian Church of Weatherford, Texas. Donna volunteered in soup kitchens, Habitat for Humanity and counseled troubled teens and their families. She was a Professor at the Boston Institute of Stenotype where she met her late husband, Gerard Danner. She also worked at Raytheon, the Timberlane School District and Atkinson Academy. Gerry and Donna had one son, Ross. Gerry passed away when Ross was 5. Some years later Donna married Howie Chandler.
Donna leaves her son, Ross Danner and his wife, Amelia; step children, Jeff Chandler, Linda and her husband, Larry Stanhope; grandchildren, Rylee, Rich, Tatum, Kenny, Alanis, Rob, Larry and Amy; great grandchildren, Harrison, Rowan, Sam, Jasper, Skarlette and Rilynd; her sister, Elaine and husband, Bruce Gatchell; niece, Mary; nephews, Paul and Ryan; and five great nieces, Brooke, Anna, Hazel, Zuri, and Poe.
Donna lived her life in faith with an open mind and believed in being ever mindful of others.
