Doris Kinback

Doris Kinback of Weatherford went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 22, 2019.
Doris was born on July 10, 1935 in Weatherford, attending both Dicey and Weatherford schools. She was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Kinback Jr.; her parents, Walter R. and Rosia M. (Piland) Tucker; her brother, James (J.V.) Tucker; and her sister, Joy D. Teague.
In addition to and during her travels as an Army wife, Doris continued to advance her bookkeeping and accounting career working for many businesses and credit unions. She eventually earned her accounting degree from Central Texas College in Killeen, TX. Later she obtained employment and ultimately retired from her position as an auditor with Mobil Oil in
Dallas. But retirement never slowed Doris down. She was an employee as well as a dedicated volunteer and supporter of numerous committees, clubs and organizations throughout Weatherford and Parker County including (but definitely not limited to) Precinct 4, Father's Wish Food Ministry, Weatherford Senior Center, Meals on Wheels, and her valued and esteemed
Parker County Republican Party associations...just to name a few.
She is survived by her son, Robert Wright of Weatherford, and two daughters, Donna Hilton of Greenbrier, AR and Terri Gonzales of Weatherford; three sisters Jeanelle Welch, Corky Hyatt and Dee Holcomb Parsons, all of Weatherford; seven grandchildren, April Motley (James),
Brandi Reed (Roger Jr.), Amanda Stockham (Braden), Steven Gonzales, Travis Wright (Kaitlyn), Ryan Gonzales (Kendall) and Tristin Wright; ten great grandchildren; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and very dear friends.
Funeral services for Doris will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 30 at Victory Baptist Church in Weatherford where she was a member. Burial will follow at the East Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, January 29 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford.
