Doris Lavern Reese

Doris LaVern Reese, 72, of Weatherford passed away Friday, September 16, 2016. A memorial service was held 10:30 a.m, Monday, September 19, 2016 at North Side Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to the Center of Hope or Community Hospice Center. Doris was born June 21, 1944 in Iredell, Texas to Finis and Berta Davis Graves. She was an executive assistant for Bell Helicopter and retired after 33 years of employment. Doris was an active member of North Side Baptist Church, serving in many activities including volunteering at The Center of Hope and teaching Sunday School. She was also a member of the mentor program at Crockett Elementary. Doris was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Graves. She is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Jerry Reese of Weatherford; daughter, Delana Hubbard of North Richland Hills; son, Darren Reeves and wife Leslie of Fort Worth; step sons, William Reese and wife Judy of Fort Worth, Jeff Reese of Mabank and Tony Reese of Weatherford; brother, Doyle Graves and wife Pat of Artesia, NM; grandchildren, Brittani Reeves, Ryne Reeves, Blaine Hubbard and wife Katie, Zach Hubbard , Ashlyn Hubbard, Landri Reese, Colby Reese and wife Ashley, Tanner Reese and Alyssa Reese; and a host of church family.
