Dorothy Imagene Garrett

Dorothy Imagene Garrett, age 84, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014 at her home in Mineral Wells. Memorial service: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2014 at the Gospel Lighthouse Church in Mineral Wells. Dorothy was born December 11, 1929 in Gainsville, Texas. She was a retired waitress, a member of the Church of God, she loved quilting and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Garrett is preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Phillips.
Survivors: Daughters; Jackie Katz of Oregon, Carol Detze of San Bernadino  , CA, Verna Narron of Millsap, Texas, Tena Hatfield-Leggett of Poolville, TX, son; Daniel Griffith of San Bernadino, CA, sisters: LeVita Spiva of California, Clara Bailey of North Carolina, Stella Hull of Mineral Wells and Sally of North Carolina, twelve grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 32 great great grandchildren, five great great great grandchildren.


Memorial service: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Gospel Life Baptist Church in Mineral Wells.
