Dorothy Louise Nichols, age 96, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024. Born on February 28, 1928, in Italy, Texas, to the late Curn C. Gray and Ruth Baker Gray, Louise's life was one filled with love and dedication to her family and faith.
After graduating from high school, Louise found the love of her life in Louis Nichols, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage and raised three children. Her devotion to her loved ones was unwavering throughout her life.
Louise was reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Louis Nichols, and their children: Donna E. Chane, Judy Fincher, and Louis R. Nichols. Although she has left this earthly realm, Louise's legacy of love and strength lives on through her grandchildren: Renee Prewitt, Damon Chane and wife, Jennifer, Jody Nichols and wife, Sherri, Brent Chane, and Johnny Fincher; as well as numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service to honor and remember Louise will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, August 12, 2024, at Annetta Cemetery, in Annetta, Texas, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband.
May she rest in peace knowing that her kindness and warmth will always be remembered by those whose lives she touched.
