Dorris Lou Grayson, passed away at age 91, Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Harris Hospital in Fort Worth, TX. Dorris was born May 23, 1930, in Dallas, TX to John Wilkerson and Lou Ida McPherson.
She took pride in being a homemaker and raising her children and enjoyed all her grandchildren. Dorris loved to fish and found joy showing her grandson's all her fishing talents. Her hobbies included: reading, crocheting, crafting, listening to Willie Nelson and she also enjoyed genealogy.
Dorris is survived by her daughter, LaTicia Smith and husband Terry of Fort Worth, TX. Sons, Kenneth Elders and wife Debra of Fort Worth, TX. and Ronnie Grayson of Weatherford, TX. 7 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.Dorris is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Brown Grayson, and son, Raymond Elders.
Visitation at 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, February 27, 2022, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.Graveside Service at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 28, 2022, at the Memory Gardens Cemetery.
