Doyle Wayne Young

Doyle Wayne Young, 75, of Weatherford passed away Saturday January 1, 2011 in the local hospital.  He was born February 7, 1935 in Lynn County, Texas to Dillard L. and Ida Mae Hodo Young. Doyle was a retired industrial mechanic, a member of the Assembly of God Church in Weatherford and the Gideon’s. Mr. Young loved to fly planes.  To share his love of flying, and teach others to fly multi wing - multi engine aircraft, he studied many hours to become an instructor. He married the love of his life, Beverly Robinett, October 12, 1957 in Kalgary, Texas. Doyle is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Beverly; daughters, Jill Baltz and husband Steve of Terrell and Jan Robins and husband Marlin of Bastrop; son Jack Young of Gladewater; sister, Rena Johnson of Godley; brother, D.L. Young of Lubbock; grandchildren, K’Lynn Robins, Brent Bridges II, Crystal Mitnick and husband Brian and their son Riley Mitnick, Stephanie Baltz, Ashley Young and Amy Black and her children, Annania and Malachi.
 
Funeral: 10:00 AM, Thursday January 6, 2011 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment in Greenwood Community Cemetery.

Visitation: 6-8 PM, Wednesday, at the funeral home.
