Durant Nash Beauchamp, Jr., 67, of Weatherford, passed away Saturday evening, January 6, in Fort Worth.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, January 8, from 6 until 8 at the Galbraith Pickard Funeral Home, 913 North Elm, Weatherford, TX. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held Wednesday, January 9, at 2 P.M., at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
Durant was born October 21, 1951 in Parker County to Durant Nash and Mary Helen Beauchamp. He married Debbie Yeats and together had two sons, Durant Nash, III and Chris. He enjoyed outdoor activities including hunting, fishing and golf. He had an inquisitive mind and was ‘always eager to learn and teach new things.’ Durant was a generous man who was ‘always willing do anything for someone in need.’ Most of all, Durant will be remembered as being a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Durant is survived by his wife Debbie of 46 years; his sons, Durant Nash Beauchamp, III and Chris Beauchamp; his grandchildren, Carah, Stephen, Hunter, and Lauren Renee Beauchamp; his great-grandchildren, Destiny Randall, Noah Beauchamp, and Nathan Beauchamp; his father, Durant Nash Beauchamp, Sr.; and by his sisters, Lisa and husband Deke Brummett and Mary and husband Mike Stewart.
Durant was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Beauchamp and by his sister, Doris Ellen Beauchamp and by his brother, John Ernest Beauchamp.
