E J Skiles

Essie J. Skiles, 79. retired from General Dynamics, died Monday July 20, 2015. Essie was born in September 4, 1935 to Essie Byron Skiles and Elsie Elizebith (Harvy) West of Wood County. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. He was proceeded in death by his parents and brother Jimmy Ray Skiles. Survivors include his wife of 6 years, Mildred Skiles of Weatherford; Daughter, Ruby May Lessig of Weatherford; Brothers Billy Gene Skiles of Runaway Bay, James Mack West of Jacksboro and Limmea West of Bridgeport; Sisters Pat Jordan of New Castel, Allie Nutt and Pansy Green of Runaway Bay; Granddaughter Samantha and Jay Carney of Weatherford. Numerous other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held at the “R.D. Nelson memorial” VFW Post 4746 in Weatherford, on August 8, 2015 from 2-4pm.
