Earl Frank Friddle, Jr., 88, of Garner, Texas, passed away Monday evening, October 25, 2017, in Wichita Falls.
A memorial visitation celebrating his life will be held from 6 until 8, Wednesday evening, November 1, at the Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford.
Earl was born December 14, 1928 in West Virginia to Earl Frank, Sr. and Birdie Friddle. He proudly served his country during the Korean War in the US Army. Earl enjoyed fishing and doing woodworking and working with metal. He will affectionately be remembered as being ‘loved by everyone’ and ‘never meeting a stranger.’ Most of all, Earl was a family mentor to his siblings and enjoyed spending quality time with his family.
Earl is survived by his wife, Ann Janet; his sons, Robert (Cathy) Friddle and Frank (Alice) Friddle; 13 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; and by his siblings, Leta, Ted, Jimmy, and Joe.
In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by his son, Mark; and by his siblings, Pete, Wanda, Johnny, Winona, and Naoma.
