Edward Louis Manning

Edward “Mr. Ed” Louis Manning, 86
 
Born May 5, 1929 and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 27, 2015.  He lived his life in a variety of careers including a railroad lineman, a telephone cable splicer and a truck driver.  His greatest passion was helping others. He will be missed by many.
 
He is survived by his brother Al Manning and wife, Mollie; his children Grace (and Mike) Kirchhefer, Ed (and Mary) Manning, Fred (and Shirley) Manning, Greg Manning and Ruth Lynch; his grandchildren Jon (and Keri) Kirchhefer, Aaron (and Heather) Kirchhefer, Wesley Osborne, Amanda (and Steve) Kurtz, Jonathan Manning, Greg Manning, Patrick Lynch and Kelly Lynch; great grandchildren London, Brandon, Kennedy, Trinity, Emily, Connor, Brennan, Avanleigh, Tyler, Silas, Ace, Enzo and Cassius and numerous family and friends.
 
He is preceded in death by his wife Helen Elaine Burton Manning and his brothers Robert Manning and Richard Manning.

A memorial service is planned for September 5, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church in Gordon, Texas.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the First United Methodist Church in Gordon.
