Eleonore T. Nelson

Eleonore T. Nelson went peacefully to her Savior on Tuesday, June 17, 2014.
 
Eleonore was born March 17, 1926 in Munich, Bavaria, Germany to Joseph and Katherine Klaus Eleonore was united in holy matrimony to Richard A Nelson on April 30, 1948. They recently celebrated their 66 wedding anniversary. The Lord blessed this union with five sons and one daughter. Eleonore spent her wedded years as a staunch and loyal supporter to her husband in his work as a pastor in The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. She was preceded in death by her parents and by one son, Kenneth.
 
Survivors: husband, Rev Richard Nelson of Weatherford; daughter, Mary and Rev. Stephen Jennings of Jacksonville, FL; four sons: Dr. Frank and Donna Nelson of Weatherford, John Nelson of Midland, Michigan, Paul and Susan Nelson of Adrian, Michigan, and Mark Nelson of Weatherford, TX. As well as two foster sons: Bryan Clark of Waterford, Michigan and Allen Clark of Carleton, Michigan. She is also survived by two cousins in Germany and by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

FUNERAL: 10 a.m., Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1500 W Ball Street, Weatherford, TX. Interment: Holly Hills, Highway 51, Granbury, TX. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to LWML Trinity Lutheran Church, 1500 W Ball Street in memory of Eleonore.
