Elizabeth Ann Roberson, 53, departed from this life on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. Beth was born December 7, 1969, in North Tonawanda, New York to Ray Honsberger and Judith Honsberger.
She was known for her joy of helping others and her love for children. Beth was a Paraprofessional for Weatherford ISD for 22 years, where she also worked the Kids Unite after school program, and the Summer School program for Special Education. Her passion for helping others also led her to go back to school where she completed the CNA program and worked helping others in a nursing home.
Beth was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She especially loved being a grandmother “Lolli”, to her granddaughter Harlow. She had a smile that could light up any room, and was the most compassionate person. She had a true servant's heart and was always putting others' needs above her own. She was a hard worker and put her heart and soul into anything she did. She would give the shirt off her back to help another in need. She loved animals, especially her cats, and she found joy in gardening, although it is a source of debate whether or not she actually had a green thumb. Beth especially enjoyed shopping, going to craft fairs, finding good bargains, and playing Bunco with her circle of friends. She enjoyed doing family dinners and spending time with her loved ones. She was a member of North Side Baptist Church and will be missed by her loving family and community. She touched the lives of many people, and her memory will live on forever in our hearts.
Beth is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, Michael Wayne Roberson of Weatherford, Texas; son, Emerson Wayne Roberson and wife Hannah of Poolville, Texas; granddaughter, Harlow Roberson of Poolville, Texas; parents, Ray and Judith Honsberger of Reno, Texas; brother, R.J. Honsberger and wife Krystal of Weatherford, Texas; mother-in-law, Mary Lou Roberson of Stilwell, Oklahoma; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be scheduled at North Side Baptist Church in Weatherford for Saturday, April 22nd at 1 pm.
The family would like to thank Medical City Weatherford, with special thanks to the ER and ICU departments, for going above and beyond in their care for Beth and her family.
