Elizabeth "Nell" Gunn

Elizabeth “Nell” Gunn, age 93, passed away peacefully at home in Weatherford, Texas on Thursday, May 28th, 2020.

Nell was born on October 23, 1926, in Utica, Mississippi. Nell was a mom, housewife, business owner, had a green thumb and was very crafty. She loved all her animals; playing and watching tennis while some of her most memorable times were playing basketball in school.

Nell is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Richard H. Gunn.

Nell will be lovingly remembered by her son Rick Gunn; daughter Debbie Givens (Greg); daughter Candy Shore and her sister Joyce McCay. Nell will also be fondly remembered by her 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.

Her celebration of life will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2020, at 1:00 pm, at the Galbreaith Pickard Hilltop Chapel, 4941 Interstate 20 Frontage Road, Willow Park, Texas. Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Nell to the Alzheimer’s Association-North Central Texas.
