Ellis Jack Craft

March 18, 1924 — June 28, 2018

Mr. Ellis Jack Craft departed this life to enter his eternal home with the Lord on June 28, 2018, after an extended illness. He was born in Hugo, Oklahoma, March 18, 1924, to the late Pauline and McKinley Craft. He was the eldest son of nine siblings, Zephaniah Craft, Arthelma Hunt, McKinley (MC) Craft, and RosaLee Simpson. He was preceded in death by siblings Lula Craft, Gus Craft, Elizabeth Smith and Lindberg Craft.

Prior to March, 2012, he resided in Kansas City, MO and Oklahoma City, and was a member in good standing with the Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church. As a member he was active in the Men’s Brotherhood as a deacon, volunteering when and where he was needed. He loved working outdoors planting and maintaining the flowers and plants at the church. When he moved to Texas to reside with his daughter, he continued his love of being outdoors working tirelessly to beautify the property.

Ellis Craft leaves to cherish his memories his daughter and son-in-law, Norma and Acie Plummer, of Weatherford, TX, daughter Chiquita Thrower of Oklahoma City, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends - all of whom will miss his sweet smile and caring personality.
