Elton Shelton

Elton Shelton, age 72, of Weatherford, died Tuesday morning, November 22, 2011 in the local hospital.  He was born June 17, 1939 in Colbert, Oklahoma, and was a resident of Weatherford for several years.  He was a U. S. Army Veteran, a cook in many local restaurants and was an avid hunter and fisherman.  Elton, the youngest in a family of 17 children, was part of New Hope Baptist Church Family. Elton is survived by numerous nieces and nephews
 
Memorial service will be held at 7 PM, Thursday, December 1, 2011 in the New Hope Baptist Church.
