Emily Ann Lambert

Emily Ann Lambert, 84 of Fort Worth, formerly of Weatherford, was born on December 28, 1934 passed away Monday, April 1, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Bill Lambert and her daughter in law, Jeanie Lambert. Emily was blessed to be born into a large family, many have preceded her in death -- parents, Frank Bailey and Joyce Bailey, brothers and sisters, Frank Bailey Jr, Bob Bailey, Doris Tandy, Bannister Bailey and Yvonne Vernon. She is survived by her children, Lois Lambert of Fort Worth and Brian Lambert of Weatherford, four grandchildren Montana, Madison, Evelynn Lambert and Jason Kight. Survivors include her sister Alma Ford and husband Lanham and brother Harvey Bailey and wife Karen and three sister-in-laws, Mary Jo Lyon, Charlene Lambert and Clydene Lambert. She has several nieces and nephews.
Emily lived in the Weatherford area all her life where she met her husband Bill in the 3rd grade and were forever linked as one. She was one of the first women to go to work outside the home. Being creative, she was a cake decorator with Albertson’s spanning 30 years. She loved traveling, shopping, gardening and time with family and friends.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday April 5, 2019 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment to follow in Dicey Cemetery. A visitation will from 6-8 PM, Thursday at the funeral home.
Lunch will be served after the services at White Chapel Gardens, 711 Lution Drive, Weatherford, Texas.
