Emma Jean Johnson, 87, of Garner, Texas went peacefully to be with her Heavenly Savior on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, in Fort Worth, Texas. Emma was born June 9, 1934, in Prescott, Arkansas, to Andrew Morgan Camp and Gennie (Hicks) Camp.
Emma was a homemaker and member of the Garner Baptist Church. Her hobbies included baking and spending time with her family - especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be affectionately remembered for her love and devotion to God and to her family.
In addition to her parents, Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin D. Johnson; son, Wesley Andrew Johnson; sisters, Faye Waldrum and Marie Crockett; and brother, Cecil Camp.
Emma is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Patty (Rick) Baca and Cindy (Gary) Stum; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great great grandchild; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
A visitation with the family is scheduled for Friday, August 20, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm, Weatherford, Texas. A celebration of Emma's life is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow at Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery, in Colleyville.
