Erma Bush has passed through the storm and has entered into the arms of her Heavenly Father. She left this world and its troubles behind on October 28, 2010, in Weatherford, Texas.
Erma Mae Stephens Bush was born on March 18, 1926, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Marion Milton Stephens and Lottie Mae Alexander Stephens. She was a homemaker and had lived in Weatherford, Texas since 1981. Her late husband worked as a minister, and Erma enjoyed traveling around the country with him sharing the gospel. She was always proud to be a wife, mother and grandmother. Erma was known for her love of singing gospel hymns. She loved her church work and loved the Lord.
Erma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters and brothers.
Survivors include son, Bill Bush of Weatherford; daughter, Sue Thrasher; two grandsons, Eddie and Jon Stone; plus extended family and friends.
Erma was a wonderful lady who blessed us all. The legacy of her life and the heritage she leaves is the grace, generosity, kindness, humility, forgiveness, trust, love and joy that she gave to all who were blessed to know and love her. A gift of the Lord, she will be dearly missed and always loved in our hearts. I thank my God upon every remembrance of you –Philippians 1:3
There will be a day of visitation on Saturday, October 30, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. No service is schedule at this time.
